Celebrating Father’s Day 2019

Yesterday, I took hubby and the babies out for Father’s day. It was the first time we’ve been out for the holiday in several years. Not for any reason in particular.

But the simplest explanation for why is…life happens.

The past couple of years have been a little challenging for our family because a lot has been going on and finances were tight. It just really wasn’t the first thing on our minds. Holidays became an afterthought.

I mean, relocating across the country, from Michigan to Texas was big enough on it’s own, but then I had to navigate a surgery and my brother’s passing, which I talk about some here.

I don’t think we’ve gone out as a family very many times until this year. This is probably our first Father’s day out in a few years and it felt really good to celebrate.

Family Photos on Father’s Day

Yesterday, we had such an amazing Father’s day. It was pretty basic…shopping and out to eat. But for our family, it was everything.

So I’m taking a moment to share these adorable photos of hubby and the kiddos just enjoying their moment together. Yesterday was a special day for us and I can’t wait for the next one!

Hubby and the Kids in their new father’s day outfits…lol.

What did ya’ll do for father’s day? We’d love to hear about it!
